Motivate Your Diet

Keep Your Diet Motivated

The definition of dieting is to restrict one's self to small amounts or special kinds of food in order to lose weight. As many of us know this can be very difficult. It is important to nourish your body while dieting. Always eat three balanced meals a day, never skip a meal and be sure to get rid of all the tempting bad foods in your house.  Here are a few more

Set a Realistic Goal

If you just want to "lose weight" but have no specific number of pounds in mind, you might not get great results. Start small, like 5 pounds in a month, and after you reach your goal set another goal to strive for.

Stay Motivated

Write a list of why you want to lose weight and read over your list each morning. This will help motivate you to have the energy and strength to accomplish your goal.

Stay Positive

Positive thinking can change your life. Visualizing your perfect weight and what you look like and believing that you can achieve that will help you transform yourself into the ideal you.

Everything in Moderation

Diet Success

It is alright to indulge in your guilty pleasures like chocolate if you do it in moderation. Dark Chocolate is actually a super food with great health benefits. A small piece of dark chocolate will satisfy your sweet tooth and not pack on the pounds.

Reward Yourself

Pick one day a week to reward yourself. Be sure to pat yourself on the back for all your hard work, and cheat a little bit. Maybe add cheese to your sandwich or enjoy an iced latte. You deserve it.

Dieting is hard, but always remember to never give up. You will have to work for it. Partner up with a friend or co-worker so you can motivate each other and talk about your progress. You can also become a member of a gym or take a yoga class to get your dose of good exercise. If at first you don't succeed, keep trying.

Until next time, stay healthy!
